Avondale Marine is redeveloping and revitalizing the former 254-Acre Avondale Shipyard into a sustainable, 21st Century global distribution and manufacturing hub along the Mississippi River, creating economic growth throughout the region.
This intermodal hub is located along 8,000 ft of deep water access on the Mississippi River, and boasts 50 heavy duty cranes on over ±1.3 million sf of land. Accessible to all Inland River System destinations, Avondale Marine is connected by water to destinations such as St. Paul, Chicago, Pittsburg, and Memphis.
The site is immediately adjacent to the primary UP/BNSF railyard and is centrally located to six Class I railroads. The buildings on site can accommodate a wide array of machining, fabrication, and processing setups.
