The nearly 500-acre Churchill Technology and Business Park in Avondale has been described as part of the “last frontier” in Jefferson Parish, in terms of the availability of developable green space. It’s part of the Fairfield land tract, prime acreage that parish officials have high hopes will attract upscale residential and business ventures.
To that end, the Jefferson Economic Development Commission is soliciting proposals for a master planner and has created an RFP – a request for proposals – that lays out the criteria and deadline for applying for the job.
